STIR: Have a party. Start a trend. Change a life.

STIR infuses international flavor and culture in ways never before experienced in the Treasure Valley.

STIR is inspired by Australian "Chef of the Nation" and Executive Chef, Brent Southcombe, who pours his substantial passion and talent into this surprising, culturally-infused experience.  During our unique fundraising events*, STIR patrons enjoy world-class cuisine in a variety of settings, all while of-promise refugees are being equipped with culinary and food service skills.  Join us as our STIR team builds a top-notch culinary arts program and showcases their talents through:

  • Intimate dinner parties
  • Elegant catered events
  • Cooking classes and parties

Brent Southcombe (www.designed2taste.com.au) is an innovator in the creative and stylistic use of local ingredients to make culinary masterpieces. His catered dinner parties are sought after by heads of state and connoisseurs of fine food, from Australia to Egypt and now Boise and beyond.

Our culinary arts program is dedicated to the belief that anything worth doing is worth doing well…especially food. Our trainees learn more than cooking and food service – they learn to take pride in their creations and gain lasting skills for employment, regardless of where they may land.

If you would like to host a STIR party, hire STIR to cater an upscale special event, or purchase a ticket (the majority of the gift is tax-deductible) to one of our dinner parties or supper club events, contact tara@createcommongood.org.

*STIR is one of the innovative programs within Create Common Good.  Our 501c3 status allows STIR patrons to enjoy tax deductions for the majority of their event costs.
