it's hard to imagine what sending a daughter to college means to Dalal, or buying a house means to Devi.

it's hard to imagine what succeeding at a first job means to Emmanuel or Diane.

it's hard to imagine what feeding your family a healthy, fresh, WHOLE meal means to a young, single mom living in a low-income housing project in Meridian.

it's hard to imagine what a spot in a job-training class means to an individual who has never been offered the chance to enjoy education, of any kind.

it's hard to imagine what it feels like to have an "advocate/cheerleader" with you when applying for your first job in a new country.

it's hard to imagine what it feels like to come to a farm that feels like home after years of war and armed conflict.

it's hard to imagine what it feels like for a family to come and serve together at CCG, helping someone else, when in their "normal life" they are battling a significant disease with a loved one.

it's hard to imagine what it feels like to write a large check, creating possibilities for those who haven't had any, when you have had every opportunity and then some.

it's hard to imagine what it feels like to be a CCG funding partner foundation, every time CCG succeeds.

it's hard to imagine...

there are so many reasons we do what we do - but the primary reason is to put love in action - creating possibilities for those who don't have them.  thanks for the part you've played in helping us use food to change lives!

but we're only just beginning!  the best is yet to come.
