CCG grows confidence.

We employ refugees through our farm operations, providing valuable work experience for long-term self sufficiency.

Most refugees come to this country without a resume. Our farm training and paid work opportunities provide a “soft landing” where they learn about workplace expectations, readying them for success in future work. At the same time, CCG supports the community-based, sustainable agricultural model that is re-defining food in America. In doing so, we provide an opportunity for natural and educational community interactions. Our first and most visible farm is located just east of Boise and is known to most as “Common Ground.”

CCG’s small, low-impact farms grow pesticide free and sustainably grown vegetables, herbs and ornamentals. We supply local restaurants, wholesale partners and farm shareholders and we donate thousands of pounds of fresh produce to the Idaho Food Bank, to our trainees, to partner organizations and to others in need.

Our CSA shareholders take home locally-grown pesticide free and sustainably grown vegetables each week and our trainees bring home the skills they need to thrive. What will you grow?
