Hi everyone- I am ridiculuously excited about some new aesthetic and informational additions at the farm. We've put up some signage that both educates and adds character and visual interest to our farm. The talented Amy Chen made us some compost signs that will identify our different piles that we've started. These are great. They're funky and rustic, but also really beautiful. Also, we will have up our main farm sign that Andrew Funkhouser made us. Inside of that we have a farm map of the East Wind side that shows were each crop is. We also have some signs appearing gradually at the end of the rows identifying what is growing there as well as great facts and recipes that include those veggies. We encourage you to read them as they are very creative and some of them are downright hilarious. The map and the veggie signs were both projects of the UC Irvine group that came from New Song Church in April. For all of those people that helped us create those awesome projects, we offer our thanks!

These signs are a part of a larger purpose that we have on our farm. That purpose is that we want to invite you onto our farm. You are welcome. We want the farm to be aesthetically pleasing, and educational. In other words, we want folks to just come and hang out. Our farm is beautiful! Especially so because it is starting to look so green. Pretty soon, Steve Cottongim will include the trellis that we are so excited for. Come out if you can!
