Level one begins in our training classroom. Through daily activities and worksheets, trainees learn about soft skills needed to be successful in the workplace as well as how to improve them. The soft skill portion of our class is anywhere from ⅓-½ of our day while the rest of the day is spent learning about ServSafe® material. Trainees will complete a ServSafe® Food Handler Certification and have the option to complete a ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification as well. The Training Manager and the rest of the CCG staff will help the trainee decide which certification may be best for them.
