Mission
Create Common Good uses food to change lives and build healthy communities for our most vulnerable neighbors that are overcoming significant barriers to employment. Those we serve include refugees, women escaping domestic violence, people overcoming addiction, homelessness, former incarceration, and mental or physical disabilities, as well as veterans, some facing multiple barriers. Our Foodservice Training and Job Placement Program provides a pathway for increasing economic mobility and breaking the cycle of poverty. Through the universal language of food, we are creating fresh starts for our trainees while empowering them to obtain self-sufficiency.
